Nule Rep terms of service

1. What Nule Rep is

Nule Rep ("Rep") is a service operated by Nule Limited ("we", "us", "our") that records which tradespeople the households on a street have used and would use again, and helps households and tradespeople find each other. By using Rep you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. Rep is free to use for households and for businesses; households may buy the optional ad-free pass described in clause 7; the Nule app is a separate paid service with its own terms at nule.ai/terms.

2. Your account

You sign in with a single-use link or a six-digit code sent to your email or mobile. Keep that inbox or number secure; anything done with your code is done as you. You must be 18 or over.

3. Claiming a home

You may only claim a home you actually live in, whether you own or rent it, and you may hold one current home at a time. When you move, claim the new home. The old one becomes history.
Verification asks your device for its location once. You agree not to spoof or manipulate it.
Each home recommends once. Several people in one household may each have an account, but the household is counted once.
A household is the address. If somebody has already verified the home you are claiming, they are asked whether you live there before you can do anything with it — and once you are in, any of you can see and withdraw what the household has said.

4. Recommendations and asks

Only recommend a business you have genuinely used and would use again. Do not recommend your own business, one you are paid to promote, or one you have not used.
A recommendation is attributed to your household and stays with the street it was made from, even after you move. You can withdraw it; the withdrawal is recorded.
An ask never carries your phone number: Rep does not ask for one. You post the message to your street yourself, and a tradesperson who answers hands over their number, not the other way round.
We may remove or suspend recommendations, asks or accounts that are false, abusive, or that appear to be part of a scheme to manufacture reputation.

5. Businesses

You may claim a business only if you own or are authorised to represent it. Claiming gives you control of the business's factual details, not of what households have said about it.
Rep shows what households said; there is no ranking to buy and no way to remove a genuine recommendation or non-recommendation because it is unfavourable. Job confirmations and "vouch for me" links must only be sent to people you have actually done work for.
Trading signs must describe real work at a real address for the dates shown. Where the household at that address is on Rep, they agree before the sign appears, and agree again if you extend it beyond the dates they agreed to.
A "verified job" means Rep confirmed the job took place, not that the work was good.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Rep to harass, discriminate, scrape or enumerate households, create multiple accounts for one person, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Our service

Rep is provided as is. We aim to keep it available but do not guarantee it, and we may change or withdraw features. Recommendations are the opinions of the households that made them; we do not vet tradespeople and are not a party to any work you arrange. Check credentials and insurance yourself.

The ad-free pass. A household can pay once, at the price shown in Settings, to remove the advert from Rep for twelve months for everyone living at that address. It is a one-off payment, not a subscription, and it does not renew. Buying again adds twelve months to the end of the current pass. The pass belongs to the address: if you move, it stays with the home you left. You may cancel within 14 days of paying for a full refund by writing to support@nule.ai. If we stop running adverts, or close Rep, before a pass ends, we will refund the unused months on request.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nule Limited is not liable for any loss arising from work arranged through Rep or from reliance on a recommendation. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be limited by law.

9. Intellectual property

The Rep service, its design and its record of relationships between households, streets and businesses are owned by Nule Limited. What you write remains yours; you give us a licence to show it as part of Rep. Contains OS data © Crown copyright and database right 2026; address data from Royal Mail PAF via Ideal Postcodes.

10. Changes, termination and law

We may update these terms and will post the date above. You may stop using Rep at any time and ask us to delete your account. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
